Its the little things

I bought this plastic cup from Primark and I love it soo much!

I have been posting  a lot on Instagram recently, it's such a fun hobby for me. If you want to follow me, my username is @ekyjones :) I am kinda close to 3000 followers which means so much to me!

This is basically my life :)

This is what I look like at the moment! I have been having my hair wavy a lot to save from using heat, and I am starting to like it.

I went on a bike ride with my family and I took a picture of my essentials. My Cath Kidston purse, factor 50 sun cream, sunglasses and my phone.

I received this lovely package from Naomi from Odds and Sorts. She so kindly gave me 2 of her bracelets from her shop, and I am so grateful!

This rose lemonade is so gorgeous. I will admit, I did buy it because of the bottle, but the drink is pretty good too.

I think this alarm clock is so cute! I asked my dad to take my phone off me for a week and not give it me back, so I wouldn't be distracted for exams, so I had to use this as an alarm and not my phone. It also says 'Jones' on it which is pretty cool! :)

I bought this bracelet in the next sale for just £2, reduced from £12! Its so perfect for summer. The only major slight downside is that my wrists are so tiny so it kinda slips off.

A little haul ♡ | Handpicked Beauty

Yesterday I went on a bike ride with my little brother and my parents, and we cycled to a shopping centre near me! I don't usually cycle but it was so fun, the views were amazing. I bought a few bits and pieces so I thought I'd show you as I haven't posted a haul in a while.

Primark pyjamas are my absolute favourites! I own way too many; every time I go to Primark I buy some. Its an addiction...but they are so cute! All of the prints are gorgeous and they are so cheap, you can't really go wrong. I bought this sleep sweater, because I have so many pyjama bottoms without tops so I thought this could go with them. I couldn't leave these unicorn pyjama bottoms, they are so comfy and cute!

In Paperchase I picked up this notebook. I love how natural it looks. I have so many notebooks, whenever I see a quote that I like or a picture on the internet, I print it off and stick it in one of my notebooks. I have themed pages, and I love looking through them! Its kind of like a physical copy of my tumblr :P PS: this is my tumblr link :

In Boots I bought two nail polishes. Barry M 'Huckleburry' is such a gorgeous, pastelly blue and I think it is so summery! The name is so cute :) I have never tried Sinful Colours before, but they are only £1.99 which is such a bargain! I think this looks so much more expensive. It is in the colour 'Big Daddy, which is a burnt orange colour. I have it on my toes as we speak and I absolutely love it!

From Boots I also picked up some new skincare products. These 'Good things' products were on sale for £3.32 each, so I picked them up straight away! I have wanted to try this brand for so long. I bought the manuka honey cleanser as a morning cleanser, as it seems so gentle and smells amazing. The deep pore lotion I am going to use after my cleanse and polish as an extra cleanse. I tried them both last night and this morning, and they are both so gentle and smell divine! I will do some proper reviews after I've used them for a bit longer. But so far I am so impressed! They are both free from parabens and harsh chemicals.

I bought this revlon lip butter in 'Peach Parfait'. I have never tried one of their lip butters, but they are cuyrrently on sale for £5.99! I debated which colour to get, but this one is so natural and has a gorgeous subtle shimmer, so perfect for school.

Have you bought anything recently?

My top 5 drugstore makeup products | Handpicked Beauty

I absolutely love drugstore/ high street makeup products; most of my makeup is from there! I love the bright packaging, cheap prices and the quality :)

I thought I would show some of my favourite products from the high street with you! I haven't been blogging much this week as I have had loads of exams (I hate making excuses like that but it's actually true) It is GCSE time!!

Hope you like the video, comment below your favourite products from the drugstore! :)

April favourites | video

I haven't done a favourites video for what seems like forever! Recently I have actually tried quite a lot of new products, so I thought I'd show them in an 'April Favourites' video. I know this is a little late, but better late then never!...hopefully ;P

Hope you like the video! What are your April favourites?

Mac studio finish concealer ♡ | Handpicked Beauty

Recently I have been using the mac studio finish concealer in NW15. I went into Mac and asked the sales assistant which concealer is the most high coverage, and she immediately recommended this one to me. She told me that it is so high coverage that it is used to cover tattoos! I was a little reluctant to pay £15 for it, as I have been using the Collection concealer which is only £4!!

I love using this concealer. I use my fingers to apply it; I know you are recommended to use brushes but I use brushes to pinpoint specific blemishes. I pat this onto my skin and it blends in so seamlessly and covers any blemishes, and then I take a little on a brush and go over any annoying spots that I have.

The only slight complaint I have with this is that it has a tendency to slide off during the day, so I have to use a LOT of powder to keep it in place. It's so thick and kind of cakey so I never use it underneath my eyes. I just pat it onto my skin and put on powder.

I love the finish this gives me; I'm so happy to have finally found something which can cover my scarring and spots. It's the perfect shade for me ( a very rare find) so I am super happy with it! I also love the packaging, it fits perfectly into my makeup bag and I think it looks really high quality.

Have you tried this concealer? What do you think of it?

My favourite nail polishes for Summer ♡ | Handpicked Beauty

Hey everyone,

Recently I have been trying to make more of an effort with my nails. I'm really bad at painting them, and as I'm not allowed anyway for school I usually neglect them except for the occasional clipping session when they get too long.
I've been trying to use different colours on the weekends, to brighten up my outfits.

Barry M 'lemon' // Revlon 'sheer cotton' // Barry M 'ridley road' // Accessorize 'Miss Sunshine' // Rimmel 'Round and round the garden'// Barry M 'peach melba' // Collection 'lemon soda' //
//Accessorize 'flashy orange' // Barry M 'Lychee' //

In the following pictures I'm wearing Rimmel 'Round and round the garden'.

This Accessorize one is so pretty and pastelly for Spring and Summer, I love it!

I really like Barry M nail polishes. I find them easy to apply and really long lasting! I have tried some Topshop ones but I really didn't like them, I found them so gloopy and hard to spread. Definitely an unpopular opinion!

What are your favourite nail polishes for Summer?

hey everyone,

today I have the accent tag! This is a super fun tag which I saw juicystar07 do :) I think accents are so cool, and everyone has a different one so I thought it would be interesting to do this tag :) Hope you all like the video, let me know if you pronounce any of the words differently!
